Fix a campaign that is not working

A checklist in the order the funnel breaks: nothing sending, wrong leads, no replies, replies but no meetings.

Work down this list in order. Each section assumes the ones above it are fine, because a fix at the top makes every measurement below it meaningless.

Nothing is going out

Check, in this order:

  1. Is outreach running? The campaign page has Start outreach and a pause control. A paused campaign queues nothing.
  2. Are leads still waiting for approval? With Lead approval on Manual, an unapproved lead is never contacted. The funnel shows them as not contacted yet.
  3. Is the quota full? Today's quotas tell you. A full cap is not an error, it is tomorrow's sending.
  4. Is the browser open with a LinkedIn tab? LinkedIn actions run through the extension in your own session. No browser, no sending.
  5. Is LinkedIn still connected? Logging out or clearing cookies breaks the link until you reconnect from the extension icon.

The leads are wrong

If the why-this-lead notes describe people you would never call, fix the inputs rather than rejecting one by one:

  • Audience: region or country, and language.
  • General: raise the lead score threshold so weak matches never reach the list.
  • General: use custom instructions for the rules that are not a field, for example "no agencies, no companies under ten people".
  • Offer: an offer written for the wrong buyer produces leads for the wrong buyer.

Then run Find more leads and read the first five notes again.

The messages are right, nobody replies

  • Read three drafts end to end. If they are generic, the twin is thin or Personalization is set to None or Light. Feed the twin more and move to Medium.
  • Check the opening line. It should name what made this person a lead in the first sentence. If it opens with who you are, the offer fields are doing the work instead of the research.
  • Try no note. Connection requests without a note get accepted more often by people who do not know you, and your message still arrives as a DM the moment they accept.
  • Shorten the sequence. Two touches people read beat five they ignore.
  • Check connection status. A message that needs an accepted LinkedIn connection may still be waiting. Separate leads who have received a message from leads who have only received an invitation.
Automate LinkedIn invitations, messages and follow-ups, stopping when someone replies.

People reply, no meetings

  • Read your sent replies. If the first answer asks for time, it is asking too early. The ask belongs after their question is answered.
  • Set a fallback ask. "Happy to send a two-minute video" recovers the people for whom a call is too much.
  • Check the primary CTA. "Open to hearing more?" is easier to say yes to than "Can we book 30 minutes Tuesday?".
  • Answer faster. A drafted reply sitting for three days is a conversation that cooled.

It worked and then it stopped

Same list as it went out, same message, falling numbers: the list is exhausted. The people who were going to answer answered. Change the audience or the signals you target rather than pushing more volume through the same one.

What agaria learns on its own

Agaria compares the profiles of leads who replied or booked meetings with those who haven’t responded. When you find more leads in the same campaign, those patterns guide the next search alongside your targeting brief. Update the brief when your audience or offer changes.
